ABOUT US

The staff of 800TRAVLER has a combined 50 years of experience and training on GDS, accounting systems (travel industry specific), and many other booking tools in the travel agent community.  We hit the ground running with our direct approach to excellent customer service and ethics.

I have 46 years as a full-service Travel Agent, Travel Agency Owner, Travel Training manager, and Trainer.  I have experience with Amadeus and Sabre, both of which I have worked with for over 25 years, as well as Travcom, Trams, and Globalware, which I have worked with for over 20 years.  I earned my CTA in 1981 with specialties in Luxury, LGBTQIA+, Caribbean, and Mexico. In October 2024, I  retired from one of the world's largest Travel Management companies, moved out of NYC, and started my new firm to help ALL TRAVEL AGENTS.  I know it is hard to accept change in the GDS, especially.  This is where we come in to assist and support.

When I was furloughed from my Server position at a 5-star restaurant at Hudson Yards in NYC (due to the pandemic), I took an interest in and started a home-based travel agency using Amadeus and Sabre. Having previously worked with Rick, I learned the ropes and the GDS systems, as well as all the online booking tools available for agents and (highly commissionable). 
We are growing consultancy. We look forward to meeting you and helping you increase your skills​.
